Hardcoat Anodizing
Commonly referred to as Type III anodizing, this process produces a harder, smother, and more wear and corrosion resistant surface than the conventional anodizing. The aluminum is exposed to an electrolytic solution of sulfuric acid at a colder temperature than Type II anodizing.
