Type II Anodizing: Class 1 and 2
This is the most conventional and frequently used anodize alternative for aluminum. Type II anodizing produces a thin (0.1- 0.4 mil) coating of aluminum oxide after being exposed to sulfuric acid at a specific temperature, current, and voltage.
